Outdoor Activities Activities for Secondary School Children

These Outdoor activities have been created and tailored with secondary school pupils in mind, we have worked together with schools, families, and pupils to offer the fun and educative activities.

Below you will see activities developed for Secondary School Pupils, more information about activity can be found under the activity name and when you click on the “Click to Register” buttons.

To register for an activity please remember that you will need you child/s HAF ID this can be found on the email sent to the email address you provided on the registration page, if you have more than one child you will have multiple emails and multiple HAF ID we recommend you do one child a time in this case.

All Stars

Learn new skills by playing golf, understanding more about animals and using their imagination with woodland sessions.

 This session is only available for children with SEND

Source Youth Centre

Activities including sports and outdoor activities as well as the opportunity to take part in interactive workshops and challenges.

Booking this activity counts as 1 of your 16 session places per session (so if you book 1 date its 1 session or 3 dates its 3 sessions and so on).

Mary Stevens Park

Activities including sports and outdoor activities as well as the opportunity to take part in interactive workshops and challenges.

Big Rig Assault Course

Team obstacle course ‘journey’ at various local parks. The focus is on team work, physical challenge and fun.

For ages 12-16 years. You will only be able to book one date per child and this counts as one session.

You do not need to contact the high ropes directly we will be in touch closer to the date with instructions for the day.

High Ropes at Baggeridge

Traverse the high and low ropes courses, take a leap of faith down the PowerFan Descender and swing through the trees along the zip wire.

For ages 12-16 years. You will only be able to book one date per child and this counts as one session.

You do not need to contact the high ropes directly we will be in touch closer to the date with instructions for the day.

Himley Hall and Park Fairies and dinosaurs adventure trail and vintage fair

Follow the trail and discover fairy houses but look out for the dinosaurs on the way!!

Boomerang festival Secondary age (11-16 years) Parents attendance is optional

We really hope that through the Holiday Activity Fun you have had a great summer! We hope we have tried lots of new activities and been to some new places. We want to celebrate this by providing you with a fun way to come back and tell us what you’ve loved this summer through BOOMERANG! So, join us, one last time, this summer, for a festival of fun!

There will be lots of entertainment on offer including, Louis Capaldi & Ed Sheeran Tributes, traditional fayre games, Disco, Gif Booth and Graffiti wall and free burgers and ice creams! Each child that attends gets a free goodie bag to take home.
