Registration is now closed and you can start booking your Easter HAF activities from 5pm, today (7th March 2022)! You will receive an email before this with your child’s Unique HAF ID (you will need this to book activities) and the link to the booking page. After listening to some parents who explained that they struggle to book activities when they go live at 9am because of work commitments we have changed the times to 5pm to give everyone a fair chance to book something they want.
Booking is open until Monday 28th March 2022. You can book 2 activities per child (some activities are just one session others are multiple but count as one activity). It is really important that you do not book more than 2 activities per child so that everyone has a chance to book an activity that they want. Once again, we aim to provide what you have booked, however we have 5000 children taking part, and we will ensure everyone has at least 1 activity that they have booked. We are unable to offer compensation or alternative activities if activities are fully booked or cancelled for some reason, HAF is an offer not an entitlement. Fingers crossed you will get all your chosen activities and we thank you for your patience and understanding.
Again based on feedback we have received we are working hard to develop a new online booking system which should help to prevent some of the issues we faced over the winter. We ask you bear with us whilst we get this up and running, but we are excited to tell you that by the Summer you will have your own online portal access to help manage your bookings and make life easier.
Once again we have worked hard with providers and we have some lovely Easter activities right across the borough to include Sports, dance, drama, gardening, music workshops, arts and crafts, cooking, days out, Easter egg hunts and family activities.
As always booking is first come first served so be quick! Booking closes on Monday 28th March2022. Once you have booked an activity you will receive an email to confirm your activities and all the details you need.
We have just started to work with parents to pilot a HAF Parent Link Helper volunteering programme. We are testing this in a number of schools and will be rolling this out across more schools as we go into the summer. If you want to know more or get involved visit our website Fancy Volunteering for the HAF programme? – HAF (holidayactivitiesindudley.com)
Finally, we just want to say we are really looking forward to seeing you all again and we cannot wait to see all your photos on our social media sites!
Many Thanks the HAF Team
